Digital Roadshow Peru: Prospects and Sustainable Development of Mining in Peru
The German Mining & Resources Network invites you to the next stop of its Digital Roadshow — Peru!
Join us on December 2nd at 3:00 PM (CET) as we explore Peru dynamic mineral landscape, a country brimming with opportunities in the critical raw materials sector for the German business community.
Peru is one of Latin America’s most traditional mining nations, with a long-standing heritage in mineral extraction. Mining remains a central pillar of the Peruvian economy, accounting for the largest share of the country’s total exports. The country is among the world’s top producers of copper, zinc, and molybdenum, and it also holds promising lithium reserves. Peru’s mineral wealth underlines its growing importance in the global raw materials value chain.
